The pictures get their story back
Every picture in this archive is waiting for its story: Who can be seen, where and when was it taken, what happened in this situation? Every answer from Eberswalde or Maputo is added here.

Farewell
From the plant newspaper

Plant newspaper “Der Walzwerker,” 1989: “Zehn Jahre Regierungsabkommen” (Ten years of the government agreement). Ceremonial assembly with the Mozambican colleagues at VEB Walzwerk Eberswalde-Finow.
Most of the people in Fenger’s pictures are still nameless. Every tip counts: a name, a place, a date, a memory. Tips are checked and published only after consulting those concerned.
Still open: When did the rolling mill festival take place at which photographs by Christian Fenger were shown at a stand?
Selected photographs also appear on Instagram, in German and Portuguese. Through the channel, former colleagues, relatives and people from Eberswalde get in touch when they recognize someone in the pictures.
A search by year, place and person will be activated as soon as the image data has been recorded.
